Maria Giacopelli Tortoriello <MTTT11@aol.com> supplied most of the info on this page. We speculate that Vito "William" Tortoriello was the son of Antonio Tortoriello (6/17/1853 - 11/1/1937) and VitaAntonia Tortoriello (7/16/1859 - 7/8/1924). She says they also had a son Victor Tortoriello (1883 - 1960) but we do not know if any of them were immigrants or Italian residents. We believe Vito "William" was a US immigrant. Bobby Tortoriello <BOBBYT715@aol.com> believes his name was William Vito and the names got switched at Ellis Island. We wonder about this since William is not an Italian name.
